An objective for Tech4Heritage is to share knowledge gained from workshops and share with others what has been learned. This page curates the materials used to teach and communicate digitisation of threatened heritage that could help support other preservation projects.
Training took place in the museum of Nassiriyah. Field session took place in Ur, ancient capital of Mesopotamia, where there is the Great Ziggurat of Ur and the Royal cemetery.
Training in Mosul took place in the University of archeology of Mosul. Most exercises were made on random objects. Field session took place in Bab Maska, one of the doors of the Antique city of Ninivae.
During our workshops on the site of the ancient city of Babylon, trainees worked on parts of the processional way monuments and pavement bricks. Field session took place in Borsippa.
